Glasgow Caledonian University – Large Stainless Steel Water Feature Glasgow Caledonian University is one of Scotland’s largest and prestigious universities receiving many accolades from being rated the UK’s best international student experience to hosting Nobel Prize poverty campaigner’s Scottish visit. Tills Innovations Ltd was commissioned to create two large stainless steel water walls prominently positioned to enhance the first impression of the university creating a welcoming sight as visitors and students enter the building. The two bespoke large stainless steel water walls were designed and created off site and craned into position. Tills Innovations Ltd carried out the full detailed design and implementation of the pumping system along with filtration and chemical dosing. The linear LED lighting was linked to a DMX control system enabling RGB colour changing of the 216 high power LEDs. Displays can be fast and energetic with dramatic colours to subdued and gentle. The water feature was completed on time and within budget and is now used as the focal point for many prestigious events. |
